BS+MS combined degree program and info session

If you are completing your Junior year this Spring with at least 135 credits and at least a 3.7 GPA, you could be eligible for our new BS+MS combined degree program.  This program provides early acceptance into our MSEE program for those students who are more oriented toward academic research and who are wanting to take their education to the next level.  A key element is establishing a working relationship with an EE faculty member who would advise the MSEE thesis project.  Work on this project can begin during the Senior year as a capstone design project and then continue to be developed into an MSEE thesis in graduate school.  By coordinating the two degrees, this program allows the BSEE program to seamlessly transition into the MSEE program, making the combined program more efficient and requiring fewer quarters to complete.  Some courses taken as an undergraduate can also be applied toward the graduate degree.

Here is the URL for more complete information on the program:
http://www.ee.washington.edu/admissions/bs-ms/index.html

If you have interest in this program, we will be holding a question and answer session at 4:00pm, on June 4, in room AE108.  Please feel free to attend if you would like to learn more about this program and its opportunities.
