2014 Personal Statement Workshop & NSF Statement Preview Session on 5/28 << RSVP by 5pm, Mon. May 26th>>

Dear Undergraduates,

You are cordially invited to the 2014 Bioengineering Personal Statement Workshop and NSF Statement Preview Session.

Dorian Varga, the Acting Lead of Academic Services in Bioengineering, and undergraduate seniors Ross Jones [heading to MIT, 2013-2014 NSF HM], Cameron Nemeth [heading to UC Berkeley/SF, 2013-2014 NSF Recipient], and Jared Houghtaling [heading to U Michigan, 2013-2014 NSF Recipient] will be the workshop/session facilitators. Dorian has over seven years of personal statement tutoring and evaluation experience. Ross, Cameron, and Jared have all recently submitted extensive graduate school/fellowship applications and offer valuable student perspective.

**Though this workshop/session will specifically address the Bioengineering Personal Statement and NSF application, it is open to all! “Best practices” discussed can easily be applied to a variety of applications.**
